Athena Taverne

In Nordlingen on a business trip - one of my colleagues at work recommended I try Athena for their greek food.

Not knowing any German, I went in and was greeted by an older women and given a small table for myself. They had an English menu, which was helpful, and I ordered a gyro with pita and cabbage salad. Quite a tasty dish! I also ordered a limonade off the non-alcoholic menu and was surprised to receive a shot glass with it as well, which contained anis (i think - it tasted like licorice, whatever it was).

Overall the dinner was quite tasty, very filling, and the older couple that seem to own the restaurant were quite accommodating to my inability to speak German.
