Beamans Discount Centres

Been into shop to day, very pleasant staff, polite, helpful, bought item same as i bought few years ago and instead of being more expensive it was 3 pounds cheaper. Don,t know why i have nt been in since it changed hands. Will be paying weekly visite. Thanks a lot,

This is a 'cheap' shop in Woolston and the only one of its kind in the area really. It sells everything you can imagine from ornaments to cleaning products, gloves to greetings cards, garden impliments to plastic boxes and much much more!


If you are after something random for your house at a very cheap price then this is the shop for you. I recently was looking for a sink plunger, found one in Woolworths for £4.99, walked over to Beamans who had on offer a bigger and better one for £1 so that was quite a saving.


Saying that, you do have to be careful what you pick up because some stuff just 'looks' cheap, if you know what I mean and its for that reason I am very fussy about why I buy in there.

Quite a good shop, has a wide variety of stock, brilliant for birthday and occasion cards and quite cheap, also has a £1 aisle, where everythings a quid, always love a bargain.

beamans is the nearest we get to a pound shop on woolston. stock includes loads of kitchen and storage stuff, plus there are sections of tools, gifts, candles, toys and of course the tables full of £1 gear. they also do a good range of cheapy imitation perfumes for only a couple of quid.
