As a DVC and Disney World fan, while visiting Paris, it was only fitting that we visited Disneyland Paris. To get there, we hired a private shuttle to pick us up from our hotel and drive us the 1 hour outside the city to the countryside where Disneyland Paris sits. This literally is in the middle of farmland and is in a pretty desolate location but its there and is pretty good. We visited both parks, although Disney Studios has a lot of consutruction going on and a lot of the rides were barracaded off and closed and presonally it was a disappointment.

The main park however made up for this and with 4 hotels surrounding this park, one being directly at the front gate, it was a definite win, alhtough you cannot just stroll into the hotels without being a guest which was odd. The main park was pretty large and has all the resemblences of the Magic Kingdom, although some of it on a smaller scale, it was almost the same, smaller Tomorrowland (Discovery land) but a larger combined Adventureland and FrontierLand. The rides were decent, really cool space mountain Star Wars ride, Indiana Jones ride and the Phantom Mansion was awesome and scarier than Magic Kingdom. Pirates was even better and longer. In all this park is worth it and has some good and bad, but it is a must do if you are ever in Paris.

Second time visiting Paris & I had to make sure to come visit since it didn't work out the first time around & as a Disney fan it's always a nice treat to check out some of the other parks if possible.
Depending how u get your tickets u can also book transportation to/from they have buses easily accessible. We were a bit lazy & just ended up taking an Uber easy coming it's about an hour ride but a hot mess leaving since it took forever to find the Uber there's a lot going on in the area I'd say plan accordingly to u.
I have visited several other parks & this is certainly the smallest maybe it's because of it's location but either way it serves it's purpose in getting your Disney fix on this side of the globe.
The entrance here reminds me of the one in California this was a cool visit as it was on Halloween & the park was decked out for the day so cute between the spooky decors & that Disney touch it was nice.
Cool castle , Coco land & a really great fireworks show to end the night it was a nice way to spend the day we enjoyed ourselves & now I can cross out one more Disney park off my list!

I would NOT recommend Disneyland Paris to anybody who loves Disneyland or Disney. I wanted to go wrong because, as a Disney fan, who wouldn't want to go!?
The public transport directly to the park was excellent, and all Disney parks have something like that from the airport. That is where the buck stops regarding cool things happening at this location. We went in the middle of the week and didn't know that the staff doesn't also come to the park. So many things are closed at the park throughout the day because of the need for more staff. Compared to other Disney parks that we have been to, the cleanliness is not there.
I have to say that I think that people who are giving this location the Disney Magic blinds five stars because I do not see it.

The merch isn't there; you can get it back stateside, and there isn't anything special about this park or this merch, which was upsetting. We ended up leaving with a Keychain and spent about a total of two hours here before we rode all the rides, saw all the things we could see, and ate at the available food places (since so many were closed).

If you are going to mark it off of your list, great. If you are going because you think that this will be a fantastic experience, just go to Disneyland Tokyo.

As a Disney fan, I was so excited to experience Disney in another country. Everything was so beautiful and whimsical. The rides were a little more "coastery" but awesome. Phantom manor was such a cool experience. But the cherry on top was getting to walk throughout the castle! Underneath, inside, upstairs, and outside! It was such a dream. Definitely lots of adults and not nearly as many kids as Disneyland in California. There were only two let downs... The merch and the cast members. Don't get me wrong, the cast members were perfectly fine, they just didn't have that extra "magic" like they do in California and Florida. As for the shopping, it seemed like less diversity in the merch. It felt like every shop had the same exact stuff. But overall, I would definitely come again.

I would love to visit all of the Disneylands of the world. Disneyland Paris was my first one and it was so much fun! First, it's way less crowded than Disney World in Florida for obvious reasons, so that was already a plus in my book. Then, you still have some of the classic rides from Disney World but also ones specific to Disneyland Paris. There are two parks - Disneyland Park (the main one and where Main Street and the castle is) and Walt Disney Studios Park (where Avengers Campus) is. We bought the two day ticket, which allows you to hop back and forth between the two. We split the park into two days but WDS Park is much smaller so if you were really ambitious, you could go from open to close and do both in one day if you really wanted to. But we wanted a more leisurely experience and did 2 and ended up having extra time on the second day to re-ride the rides we really liked.

Definitely download the app because if you want to eat at any of the restaurants, you need to use it to book way ahead of time. We checked two weeks prior and all the good restaurants/time slots were gone. But due to people cancelling last minute, we actually ended up being able to do most of the restaurants we wanted, so keep checking that app.

The parks are about an hour from the city center and you can take the RER A. Be mindful of train times though because there was one night we found out at the park that the trains stopped after 9, and that was the night we were waiting for the fireworks, which were not until 10-10:30. Make sure you get to Main Street at least an hour prior for a good spot. It was annoying but it was worth the wait, especially since it happened to be the 30th anniversary, so there was a special drone show too. Same goes for the parade - if you're planning to go, be sure to go an hour beforehand to get a good viewing point. We were on the sidewalk at first and then one of the cast members told us to go with him and we ended up getting a prime sideline spot!

Overall, it was a really magical and wonderful experience but probably something I only need to do once in Paris.

Can't be a Disneyland Magic Key holder and not check out Disneyland Paris on my Paris vacation right?

Disneyland Paris is pretty beautiful for sure, which is centered on the significantly larger Sleeping Beauty Castle in the middle of the park. Although Main Street seemed almost like a carbon copy of Main Street back at Disneyland in Anaheim, the rest are very much not. Frontierland, Adventureland, and Fantasyland have their own unique features, and Discoveryland was designed to not be a straight copy of Tomorrowland.

The one thing I noticed was that park attendance was significantly lower than anything I would have seen at Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Most rides didn't have lines longer than 30 minutes, which was staggering to me. For those that don't feel like waiting, you can get Disney Premier Access on an a la carte basis or buy Disney Premier Access Ultimate and cut the line on EVERY ride. Kinda glad I didn't get Disney Premier Access Ultimate because there were a lot of rides I ended up skipping on.

One thing I noticed is that the rides are significantly more rollercoaster heavy. Hyperspace Mountain is nothing like the Space Mountain versions as it is a legit rollercoaster with inversions (which I am very much NOT a fan of). Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is also a rollercoaster, unlike the Disneyland version. Only thing that was fairly similar was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Only tried one food place and it was ok. Wish I had been able to get a reservation for dining, but those filled up pretty quickly.

Full credit that tickets are way cheaper here. A one-day ticket for both parks was about $136...I wish tickets were that cheap back home.

Everything is primarily French (obviously), but also in English as well. All the Cast Members here speak English too. Only weird thing for me was how the parades and the fireworks presentation at the end of the night was in French and English.

Definitely nice to have visited here once, but there's no need to come back. Enough to do in Paris and I have plenty of Disneyland back home!

      Disney Paris!!!!

I have wanted to visit this park for a long time! And finally, I was able to. Right away when entering the park, you can tell it is a lot smaller than California Disneyland. Which I guess makes sense since Americans are bigger and need more space? The rides and attractions seemed all lumped together, and everything was more cramped. California Disneyland is more spread out everywhere. We walked the main park in no time. Went on a couple rides and then went to Walt Disney World Studios. Walt Disney Studios was bigger and had more unique things that we don't have in California.

We did the Disney Premier Access Ultimate for the rides that were too long. Most of the rides were an hour or more.

Hyperspace Mountain is completely different from the California version called Space Mountain. Hyperspace is FAST. And it is longer than Space Mountain.

Overall, it was fun to compare and contrast Disneyland Paris to Disneyland California. The food is not as good as California.

A charming cross of the Orlando and LA versions with a sprinkling of local French flair (crepes for snack time for example). The park is large enough to include many things but small enough that walking the entire thing was not so daunting - although it's still a tiring day.

I can't speak to the normal crowds, we went on a cold and rainy day in the off season. I recommend trying to go in the off season if you can; the crowds we experienced were downright sane by Disney standards. Only a few rides had 50+ minute waits and if you're willing to monitor the app and pick rides based on their wait times, you can squeeze a lot in a day. I recommend downloading the app and using it to both navigate and check times if you have service on your phone.

The staff was not as friendly as the US Disney locations. That's not necessarily a problem as everyone did their jobs but we did run into an unpleasant experience trying to order food while considering a food allergy. The staff were not exactly pleased to assist us, but ultimately we did get the information we needed. On that note, unlike the US Disney parks which go to great lengths to accommodate many needs and allergies, this park essentially just doesn't accommodate such things. They had a handful of pre-packaged meal offering in place of allergy sensitive items but did not have any main-menu items that were Gluten free for example - not even a GF bun available for a simple hot dog. This was a bit of a disappointment as one of the best things about visiting Disney in recent year has been the ability to get allergy sensitive items that we otherwise would not be able to find. It also made it hard to feed some members of our party while in the park.

However, unlike parks in other parts of world, bringing your own food and drink was not only allowed, it appeared to be a common practice. This was a surprise to me and I would recommend you take advantage of it - the food selection is overall far less than in other Disney parks.

First of all I'd like to say if you love Disney, you'll like it here. The reason I'm giving it two stars : a lot of attractions were closed due to employee strikes. It would disappointing coming all this way not being able to ride your favorite ride. Phantom manor, Big thunder mountain, hyper space mountain, pirates of the Caribbean, and several food carts, and several restaurants were closed.
We did get to ride ratatouille, which is in Florida as well . The French regional wine carts were divine.

I haven't been to all the castle parks around the world, but of the ones I've been to, this one is the most beautiful. Truly everywhere you look is gorgeous, between the landscaping, bridges, ride facades, and layers of detail. I could've just spent the day walking around and taking pictures of the park itself.

The park offers a decent amount of rides with a range from very mild to quite thrilling. I was able to do everything that I wanted in 3/4 of a day. There are many places to eat, though seemingly few bathrooms.

The cast members are quite nice and they all speak English and French. Some other languages as well.

I was slightly disappointed with the fireworks show, which was mostly castle projections. Since the show begins at 11 in the summer due to the late sunset, I and many others waited around a long time to see them. I personally was not impressed.
