Hotel Lindenhof

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and breakfast in the morning, and ate dinner there once. We loved this hotel, this town, and this place! After leaving the ferry, we found it so easily in Bad Schandau. The staff was so friendly! Their English was not so good, but they were so helpful and helped make the experience fabulous by directing us to the local sights. The rooms were large and very comfortable; ours overlooked the street. Breakfast came with the room and was simply amazing! It was a huge spread of delicious meats, cheeses, breads, fruits. Dinner was ok, not really special. But the beer was great! For US travelers who don't want to see other Americans, this is a great choice.
