The bar/restaurant is absolutely beautiful; 5 stars for the design! I definitely love the lounge feel with the chic oriental style of Le China. The drinks are delicious & very creative, however, the prices are fairly steep (but not out of the range for drinks in Paris). I would highly recommend going to the happy hour (which starts a bit earlier than most happy hours, at 17h00 or 5pm) where all the cocktails are 7 euro.
I have 3 stars instead of 5 because of the service. Once we arrived at Le China we were looking for our friends who were going to meet us there. I figured that our friends arrived first so I asked one of the servers (in French) if there was also an upstairs portion of the bar/restaurant; she literally said "I don't know". How can you not know if there's an upstairs portion of the restaurant where you work?! (FYI: there is an upstairs & the bathrooms are there as well). Then a manager-looking employee approached us to ask about our group size & I said I'm not sure who all confirmed because I didn't organize the gathering & with a snarky attitude he responded that it wasn't his job to know how many we would be & that it's information that I should have. Anyways, the bartenders are nice but some of the staff could stand to chill out a bit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 2019年6月8日
Was craving asian food during our last night in Paris. So glad my girlfriend found this place and so glad we decided to stay here to eat knowing that it looked all fancy and we didn't looked dress for the place.
Happy hour was about to end in 5 minutes so we ordered 7 Hennessy side cars lol the waiter was in shocked but was happy to get us our drinks just in time before it was over. Btw our waiters name was Anton and he was great! The drink was delicious and strong so it was perfect for dinner. What we ordered was the dim sum sampler, side of shrimp fried rice, I think it was green curry noodles, the noodles with salmon, shrimp and duck egg rolls, the vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls and the goose entree. Boy was everything so good or maybe I was just hungry lol but really the food was good. My favorite dishes was the noodles with salmon, the vermicelli and the goose. Wow I never thought I would have goose but it was really good. Reminded me of steak in a way with a good seat on the outside and tender in the middle. The noodles were good too and good size salmon pieces and was cooked perfectly. And the vermicelli was good too and the nuoc mam wasn't too sweet or salty.
At the end they give you a shot if lychee which was sweet and the customer service was superb!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kecia H.Far Rockaway, アメリカ合衆国1637102016年11月2日
Got lost in the area and decided to stop in. We (my cousin and I) decided to sit at the bar since it was a full house. The decor was old, chic and comfortable...closed blinds and dim lights. We each had 3 drinks that was bomb as heck (amazing lol)
After our third drink we were able to move to a table. Started off with squid and shrimp fritters that were tasty as heck and for my main I had a curry noodle dish yummm. Afterwards, as we were leaving we realized there was a live band downstairs where you could have also sat and ate. Bummer wish we knew... apparently they sometimes have live concerts, saw a poster from Kendrick Lamar's previous show there#wishiwasthere. we went on down for a bit and had another drink but honestly i was tipsy and needed to catch a uber pronto lol those drinks were strong af. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Great ambience, friendly staff, it's inexpensive and the drinks and food is bombHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sabina B.Lucerne, スイス983642016年6月17日
I started with a Mai Tai which I really liked. Afterwards, as a starter I chose a mix of all the Dim Sum they offer in their menu. They came with three different dips and it all tasted delicious! As main dish I had the Chicken Tempura which I also liked, but it was not outstanding. What was really nice was the sticky rice (Riz feuille de lotus vapeur) which I had as side order.
The interior of the restaurant is rather dim with many red elements. I liked the cosy atmosphere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Pouya Y.パリ, フランス7611143272015年3月24日
I was a little wary when I walked into the entrance. There is a door leading downstairs on the left to what seems like either a performance area or a karaoke bar. I wouldn't know because I didn't go down but I just inferred from the pictures. To the left is where the dining area is situated. The place is dark, intimate, and decorated like a nightclub from the late 90s or early 2000s: black and red.
We split a leather couch with a table at each end with another couple who were getting hot and heavy throughout the night. This is definitely a place for the grown and sexy.
I thought because of the nightclub vibe, that the dining experience was going to be a miss. I was happy to be wrong. The food and drinks were on point.
We started off the night with cocktails. I had the manhattan (with Rye whiskey) and my wife had a fruity lychee cocktail called La China. For an appetizer we shared the vegetable steamed dumplings and my wife had the curry lamb and I had the duck breast. Both were delicious, cooked perfectly with great flavors, and presented well.
The service was attentive and relaxed. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I think this would be a great place to host an event or even a large get together for friends.
Next time, I think I need to walk around and explore the place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Emma A.Sèvres, フランス0152018年8月25日
I tried this restaurant on a Sunday for a brunch and I really enjoyed it.
The buffet is succulent with a good choice of French/Chinese food. There is really lots of different things, sweet and salty, to satisfy all your morning envies.
Moreover, the ambience of the restaurant is really nice, the place is beautiful and well optimized so you feel very cozy there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer W.パリ, フランス29751352014年11月12日
Reminiscent of a 1920's Shanghai Speakeasy. Come here at night to enjoy a cozy romantic dinner on the main floor or drinks and live music downstairs.
Recommended occasions: Birthday Drinks. dates. stay on the main floor if you want to hear each other. Basement with live music can get quite loud.
Price/Quality: 4 stars
On the expensive side but you are there for the ambiance.
Service: 4 stars
Average service.
Ambiance: 6 stars??

Amazing, multi-story venue that feels like a Shanghai speakeasy in the 1930's. The drinks are fresh (lots of ginger and lychee-inspired beverages) and Asian-themed, and the ambiance is really romantic and secluded. The upstairs is surprisingly spacious.
Appetizers were OK, about as good as average Paris Chinese restaurant but acceptable. Would definitely go there first for the drinks though!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Haitong Y.The Loop, シカゴ, アメリカ合衆国107102015年7月28日
There is cocktail and Asian food. Both are not bad. But as an Asian, if I want Asian food I might go to Chinatown because it's cheaper. If I look for cocktail here is not the best. So I am giving 3 stars because the deco is not bad.
