A great bar! They do happy hour at a very reasonable hour where all drinks are only 8 euros. We came around 9pm and it wasn't too busy, but there were still some people inside. Once being seated, we got to look at their massive menu which has more drinks than you can imagine.
I don't even remember the name of the drink I got, but it was delicious. Not overly sweet and a good amount of alcohol inside - definitely something I'd get again. I'd highly recommend this spot to catch up with friends!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - John S.Fresno, アメリカ合衆国4846522015年3月30日
We had a quick drink here before Les Papilles.
You've got to accept this place for what it is. If you like good alcohol, don't expect to find it here. They don't have a top shelf or anything that approximates one. If you like a quiet place to have a nice conversation over a drink, don't expect to find it here. It was raucous and young and loud as heck and packed shoulder to shoulder.
If, however, you want a super lively atmosphere and delicious, sugary candy drinks, this is your spot. If I were 21 again, I might never leave. Since I'm not, I probably won't go back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Justin S.Pasadena, アメリカ合衆国14159192011年11月15日
Crocodile is my favorite bar in Paris. You cannot go here and not have a good time.
It has a simple concept- they serve 200 different cocktails, all for 6 Euros during Happy Hour (which lasts until 11pm), 9 Euros afterwards. Half the fun of coming to this place is flipping through the endless cocktail menu. You could come here every night and still be hard-pressed to not find something new and intriguing.
My personal favorite is the Rio Grande, which if alcohol by volume is considered appears to be their house version of a Long Island.
True to the bar's name, each drink comes with a gummy shaped like a crocodile. A small touch to be sure, but somehow on some reptile-brain level it's always fun and compelling to try and spear out the croc from the bottom of your glass with your flimsy plastic straw.
They always play good, semi-ridiculous party time music. I can't think of a time that I've been there without hearing "I Believe In Miracles" at least once.
It's best to get there earlier than later, because it packs up and it becomes very hard to get a place to sit.
This is a great spot to unwind after a shitty day, or to go for a date with someone who likes having a good time. Crocodile never fails to make me really happy.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 2014年1月25日
A true dive bar, with peeling posters on the walls, and half of the plastic covered chairs are cracked. You're lucky if you get a seat, and there's nowhere to stand to wait inside. I wish that the cocktail menu was organized by base liquor, but alas it's alphabetical by the random names. Sure there are a lot, but the quality of the ingredients aren't quite up there (some dodgy bottles of syrups at the bar). The happy hour special of 7 euro drinks is long (until 11 pm Mon - Thurs, 10 pm Fri/Sat), but I wouldn't come here outside of it for these well liquors.

If it were only for the amazing, extravagant Cocktail list, the variety and the taste of all those crazy drinks. I would give this place a 4 or 5 star easily.
Alas, it is over-crowded by a crowd of very young (yet very nice and open-minded) students, mostly from nearby La Sorbonne.
The service is all but pleasant, with the waiters telling you to stay at the bar until you get a table, only to push you every 3.5 seconds when squeezing between you and the way-too-close tables.
The orders come in quickly, but at that price (9€ outside happy hour), a smile should not be premium...
The deco is entertaining, whilst the overall feeling is that of a dirty place, with the floor being filled with liquid, cocktail drippings.
The little surprise you'll find at the bottom of your glass saves this review by a crocodile's inch...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ana M.パリ, フランス6112014年7月12日
Really absolutely loved this place. A variety of cocktails to choose from. I went with Has Been (tequila) and Nirvana (vodka). Happy Hour on weekdays are from 6pm to 11pm, on weekends until 10pm with the cocktails only 7 euros and they have a proper dose of liquor in it. I definitely don't feel cheated. :)
The best thing is you can bring outside food and eat there.
The space is very tiny, and people lounge with no shame so good luck getting a spot. (only reason I give it 4 stars), but the barman does make an effort to find you a place to sit, and shifts people around to make space. And they were very friendly.
No credit card machine, cash only.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype ユーザー (david-…)ロンドン, イギリス3312009年10月27日
God, I love this bar. It used to be open till early in the morning, now closes at 1 am with the rest. Some of the original charme got lost when the massive St. Bernard dog that used to lounge everywhere died two years ago. A shame, it is still charming though.
Over 300 cocktails on the menu and a seriously good barman, who knows what he is doing. One of the only places I know that do a REALLY good Singapore Sling. Also, they are not mean with the alcohol...
The bar is not bigger than a train waggon with a very personal atmosphere, more like a speak-easy. We always (!) ended up chatting to other people and making friends, not a given in Parisian bars.
Verdict: A rare gem in the overdeveloped Quartier Latin. Start the evening there and wonder why you wanted to go somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Taylor M.Washington, DC, アメリカ合衆国42222014年1月17日
Tiny little bar filled with Parisian students. Hundreds of cocktails, each stronger than the last. Happy hour until 11pm can't be beat! 6 euros a drink. Get there early if you want any chance at a table and bring cash, they don't accept cards!

Huge drink menu, service was fine. The place isn't my style, but it was fun anyway. We got a kick out of the incredibly long list of drinks available and the gummy crocodiles floating at the bottom of the drinks we ordered (yes, really!). Lots of sugary, fruity drinks and shots available, well priced. Comfortable, quirky place to hang out. A bit of a dive.
