We stopped in here today in search of a burger that my 8-year-old, picky-eater son would enjoy. (So far, we have had only the type of burger you find on a baguette). We were super pleased with our meals. They have a very wide variety of options, from super healthy to sinfully delicious. I had the eggs benedict, and my husband had the smoked salmon salad. My son had a mini trio of burgers (on cute little soft buns), and macaroni & cheese in lieu of fries (they give you the choice). Everything was fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back here again. There were local kids there too, so obviously a very family-friendly place. Our server was also extremely pleasant, attentive and funny. The food came out very quickly at lunchtime.

If you call your restaurant "pretty damn good", you really have to be "pretty damn good" or you will be reading a lot of bad puns online about your name. PDG shouldn´t really have that problem, they are pretty darn good. They are not one of the recently opened "hipster" Burger-joints, this is more old-school, but I liked that.
Our Burgers were fresh, simple and good. Big Portions. Tasty desserts, friendly service. The location is nice and quiet even if you sit outside, inside it´s the typical tight parisian fit.
Only criticism I would have is that the drinks-menu could be modernized a bit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dana R.シアトル, アメリカ合衆国445182011年9月19日
Our driver from the airport told us his favorite burger was from PDG on Rue du Dragon. Since our apartment for the first week in Paris was on the same street we thought we'd give it a try. Don't ....
The quality of the meat and cheese is horrible. The cheese is like the American cheese sauce you get on nachos at the ballpark (yet less flavorful if that's possible) and the meat was flavorless (even though cooked to the temperature I asked for). I added salt and that helped a bit but just not good. However, the bun was fine.
I don't care for the thick wedge fries that came with the burger. Overall a miss ... if you want a really good burger on the same street (Rue du Dragon), go to Chardenoux des Pres (make sure you either have reservations or sit at the bar) where the quality of the meat is superior, as is the thin (not overwhelming) slice of bacon and quail egg). And, they come with some of the best frites I've had.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mo P.フェアファックス, アメリカ合衆国022017年6月15日
Had a great dinner with my kids there last week. The hamburgers were great and they were American sized. The atmosphere was lively with good music. The owner was nice and made sure it was a good experience for me and my family.

PDG means "Pretty Damn Good" and indeed it was. My husband and I were in search of a place in Paris that would satisfy our need for an American hamburger. This is a little restaurant that satisfies that need. The sesame seed buns are made especially for PDG by Eric Kayser and would be a hit anywhere in the USA. The meat is cooked to order and served with the usual lettuce, tomato and onions with hand cut fries. Mustard, honey mustard, and ketchup are on the tables.
We shared the 3 mini burgers which comes as a set. One with Roquefort cheese, one with American style cheese, and one with guacamole. It was filling for two people but left room for apple crumble for dessert. The restaurant doesn't open until 7 pm for evening meals so plan accordingly. All staff speak English quite well. It's a place we will add to our list of favorites while living in France.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff B.Newport Beach, アメリカ合衆国0272014年10月10日
A simple place with a huge variety of burgers and hot dogs with fries, slaw and simple wines and beverages. But, wow, the burgers and fries are fabulous! They are among the best we have ever had anywhere. It is a fun experience.
