Ristorante Del Arte

It was New Years Day in Paris and not many restaurants were open. We stumbled upon this one while walking around and decided on this restaurant since the menu looked pretty decent. My party got a pizza and I got the seafood pasta. The restaurant is very modern and the food looked presentable. The food was not bad, but not too good either. Maybe because it was so bland that it tasted like nothing. My party who got the pizza even needed more seasoning, and he isn't the type of person who needs his food to be super flavorful. We added all the salt, pepper, hot oil, and cheese we could to our meal and that still couldn't revive it. It wasn't cheap either, the pizza was at least 12€ and the seafood pasta 16€. I've been to Italy before and I know that their pizzas and pastas aren't bland and flavorless.

We were looking for a place to eat in the Boulogne area on a Sunday night and found most restaurants closed. We were pleased to find this local family friendly place. We went there with our 13 month old daughter and were easily accommodated with a table in the corner and a high chair.

The food was good, we shared the Pizza con Carne and a tomato mozzarella salad. This isn't the best Italian in the world, but far from a disappointment. A nice indoor/outdoor café on a square with reasonable prices.
