This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were very happy with our meal. The owner was warm and friendly and is there is make sure every customer is happy with their meals. The steak was delicious - great flavor and texture.

Qype ユーザー (nsthom…)ケルン, ドイツ41322011年3月17日I was completely impressed with my experience at Restaurant Colina. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical as I arrived. It was a Saturday and we did not have reservations, but were still able to get a table, which was great.
The service ended up being very good. After expressing interest in a bottle of wine, we received a thorough presentation of different wines, and even got to taste a few.
I ended up eating a filet, which I ordered medium-rare (Englisch). The meat was absolutely perfect! I was so impressed from the quality. My friend ordered the ostrich steak, which he said was also very delicious.
My only critique would be that the atmosphere is only so-so. It looks like a very bland restaurant, not only from the outside, but also on the inside. But the food is to die for!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

Nice service. We were a lot so service was long, but ok. We also had a great chilian wine i can recommand 'concha y torro'. A very young cabernet and merlot, but really good one! Strongly recommanded.

This place offers the only authentic Cuban cuisine in Cologne.
The meat and fish dishes served here are impeccably prepared, mostly cooked on charcoal grill, plus they have a large selection of typical Cuban starters like manioc all served in an elaborate and impressive setting in the heart of Cologne.

ich war erst diese Woche im Colina Gast und ich muss sagen, dass es sich wieder einmal voll und ganz gelohnt hat.
@ Italienfreund: Soviel zu deiner Frage, ob es sich lohnt da deinen Geburtstag zu feiern.
Zuerstmal zum Ambiente: Es ist typisch kubanisch herzlich und man fühlt sich als Gast direkt willkommen.
Auch das Essen war das Beste seit langem in einem Restaurnt:
Das Fleisch (ich habe in safiges Steak gegessen, das genau so war, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte), und es gibt im Colina die wohl besten Steaks von ganz Köln und Umgebung. Ich behaupte das jetzt einfach einmal, weil ich schon so ziemlich jedes Steakrestaurant im Rheinland kenne.
Und das bestätigt mir auch der bekannte Restaurnt-Kritiker Helmut Gote.

Auch die Tapas und den Salat, den meine Beleiterin gegessen hatte, waren tadellos und standen in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Zu den Getränken kann ich nur sagen, dass die neuen Weine, die es wohl noch nicht lange im Colina gbt (?), sehr gut geschmeckt haben.
Die verstehen im Colina wohl nicht nur etwas von gutem Essen, sondern auch von erlesenen Tropfen^^.
Und die Preise sind keineswegs zu hoch.
Also, wie ihr meinem Bericht schon entnehmen könnt, bin ich mit dem Colina voll und ganz zufrieden und werde wohl in der nächsten Zeit nochmal dahingehen.
Ich habe meinen Arbeitskollgen bereits vorgeschlagen, unsere Weihnachtsfeier da zu feiern; die sollen, so habe ich von einem Freund gehört, im Colina immer sehr stimmungsvoll sein, was, so sagte er mir, an dem kubansichen Ambiente, dem Gastgeber, der Musik und natürlich auch an dem Essen liegt. - Christian S.ボストン, アメリカ合衆国3141132014年4月20日
Great Latin American/Cuban place. I had a great T-bone steak and fried maniok. Additionally, great cocktails. Definitely recommend.

many people would rate the statement best steaks in town as typical exaggeration, not here! the steaks are just perfect! the right, best meat, the cut exactly how it should be, and the preparation on a wood fired grill to perfection. The wine selection is good, slightly over priced. the staff is very friendly, maybe not all professional, but we're in Cuba, aren't we?! ps the senior owner is a little difficult, take him with respect and he will respect you! not the other way round
