This is probably one of the busiest local restaurants around this way. Most nights of the week it seems to be pretty packed out, lots of adults, lots of kids - it's a noisy joint.
To be honest, this is where all the atmosphere comes from - there isn't much of a vibe generated by the brushed wood or dim lighting. The kitchen and open oven are pretty nice though and certainly corroborate this chain's claim to provide pizzas, traditionally fired.
I usually opt for some of the vegetarian options, roasted vegetables, goats cheese, that sort of thing. Plenty of chill oil available too which works a treat on these pizzas.
Good choice in the summer, they stick lots of tables out on the pavement and depending on your dinner partner of course, from this side of the King's Road, there's a nice view.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tisha G.ロンドン, イギリス7054462572013年10月11日
Strada is alright being part of a chain restaurant. It was our server being very accommodating which made the evening well appreciated. I ordered the risotto, but it was a bit more al dente than I am used to appreciating. I have heard that their pizzas are the best, which is possibly true, because my risotto and my husbands steak were mediocre at best. At least the wine was fantastico?

Good, authentic thin crust pizza. Even better with their 'Buy one get one free' voucher!

I am not usually a fan of chains but went to Strada for a quick lunch as I had a Tastecard with me (50% off food). Had the mushroom arancini to start and it was lovely though a little overcooked (breadcrumbs were brown, instead of golden). This was followed by the mushroom panzerotti which was lovely, though the sauce was very very VERY salty and a little runny. We also had a basket of bread, but the flat crisp-like bread thing (don't know the name) was a little stale.
Service was excellent, but the waiter kept asking if we wanted dessert (at least 3 times), though we politely declined and opted for coffee instead. It got a little tiresome but I suppose after the Tastecard discount, the restaurant had to make money some other ways :-/Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
