Good pizza options
Vegetarians will like it too...
They offer chilli oil for people who like it spicy... which is a brilliant thing to doHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aaron A.Beaverton, アメリカ合衆国55212022年4月22日
I ordered through a delivery service. I got a pizza and they forgot one of my toppings that I paid for, as well as they didn't even cut the pizza.. I got wings as well and they didn't even put the flavor that I ordered it as. Just plain and dry wings. Would I order from here again? Probably not. I'd like to think they can do better if I actually dined in. But who knows. Granted it was late at night when I ordered so they probably didn't care all that much. But I was charged for something that they didn't even give me, so future customers be warned.

There are very few things I miss from LA, but 800 Degrees is one of them. I waited and waited until this location was less busy before trying it out.
Let me say that in style and concept this is identical to LA, and the Vegas location too. The quality control here is excellent, and I dare say the pizzas in Shinjuku are better handled and cooked with more care.
That being said, even if you get a skimpy pizza, employees and customers are going to stare at you if you order a whole one for yourself. Since they aren't really filling and eating an entire one is standard practice stateside, this is sort of disconcerting unless you're going with a friend who will join you in delicious gluttony.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Susan G.OR, アメリカ合衆国3132022年4月28日
My husband and I thought we'd try this place. It was over an hour and then when our pizzas came, it wasn't the pizzas we ordered. We used Grubhu, our receip said what we ordered but the pizza that came was the wrong pizzas and we honestly didn't enjoy the pizzas. We ate 1 slice each because we were so hungry but the rest got thrown out. And with the delivery and tax two medium pizzas were $70. It really was ridiculous. I don't recommend this place, I know we won't be going back.

Much like Mod, Pieology and Blaze pizza in the states, 800 degrees is just better than all of the former. It could be because it's new in Japan, the service is attentive or the fresh ingredients. They opened at 3:30 pm and shortly after it was crowded. You go in and one of the employees will show you to a table and provide utensils and a plate.
You then proceed to order your pizza, much like Chipotle style. You know it's legit when they have the dough rolled out but still use flour to roll it out. I opted for the margherita for $10xx yen. They could have added more basil because there were only a few pieces. The crust was nice and doughey with a good amount of yeast. Tried the meatballs too and they were tastey.
I can see why this place is busy as it's new and more western. They play American pop, John Legend was playing in the background. Conveniently, located across from JR Shinjuku station. Service is really good for a fast casual spot. Places in Cali can learn a lot about service if they trained in Asia.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3028412622016年8月1日
Great concept. Smooth - but mechanical - in its execution.
Greeting seating was friendly and efficient. During mealtimes the place must be popular, as there were queuing barriers and complimentary water standing by outside.
Concept is simple: choose a base, choose toppings, choose drinks. It's a little like a cafeteria in this way, because at the completion of each stage you shuffle along to the next station. The only thing missing is a wet plastic tray!
The end product worked out around USD20 for a bottle of Italian beer, a 'bianco' base pizza with anchovies and sliced potatoes as a topping. The toppings tend to boost the price noticeably!
Pizza quality was as good as could be expected. Cooking took all of a couple of minutes, with light charting of the underside of the crust. I really hoped for burnt bubbles on the upper crust - but not quite!
Great simple eats while out shopping in Shinjuku.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liz M.サクラメント, アメリカ合衆国1081523392018年9月10日
When we found out that there was an 800 Degrees in Tokyo, we had to stop in. Having been a huge fan of 800 Degrees in Los Angeles, I was a little nervous to see if this location stacked up. The concept and the food was pretty much exactly the same. There are ingredients available here that are not available in Los Angeles which catered to local tastes. Overall the pizza and salad were both delicious. I would recommend stopping in here if you get the chance!

Pizza was excellent and the service was solid. A little skimpy on the toppings, but overall very good. Perfect spot near the main shinjuku main station.

Who eats pizza in Japan? Well I guess we do, hubs was noodled out and this pizza place is right in the Shinjuku station close to our hotel so we stopped in to rest our weary feet after a long day of touring. We had walked by the past few nights and there was always a line outside so we figured it had to at least be decent. Neopolitan style pizza with a make your own service line, there were a few Japanese options and Japanese style toppings such as squid ink pizza along with all the traditional favourites, prices are higher, but you're eating western food so what do you expect. Overall it was tasty, quick and made for a good dinner.
