The 3rd Burger 広尾店

Lunch time at 3rd burger today. I love the way you order at the kiosk vending machine and pay there. You get the receipt and wait for you're order to be called. Great service and very quick. The burgers, very interesting. Great fresh produce, meat was A+ even the bun was really good. But the sauces and flavors of the sauces on the burger were definitely not appealing to this western palate. Even the chicken nuggets were decent but the teriyaki sauce was super off! The ketchup was also "different". I'm glad I got to experience 3rd burger but at the same time I won't be going back, sorry not my cup of tea.

Although some folks may think that eating a hamburger in Japan is a wasted opportunity for something better, you woulf be surprised that different countries sometimes put thier own spin on a US staple, only to make it better or simply "different."

This place was a lobster roll joint last year when we came, and now it is a burger place. Because we wanted to eat lighter for lunch, it was a good fit, plus it was new.

We ordered two burgers - one cheeseburger and one bacon cheesebuger, plus an order of fries and chips. The burgers were very good and not dry, plus the buns and vegetables were very fresh as well. Had a nice charred taste, not too strong, just right actually.

The over all winner was the homemade tortilla chips with a wasabi tartar sauce dip. This was amazing! If you are in the Hiroo station area, this place won't disappoint!
