Leon is by far the best place to go for a pastry a coffee and a chat, if you feel up to treating yourself. Its expensive, but when you see all the cute little tarts and treats you completely know why! You can get cakes and tarts to order for birthdays and special occasions, and they are really delicious! The coffee is nice and strong with a really nice warm taste. Definetly worth the money if you have it!

Ooh this place really excites me! When I go in and see all of the gourmet deli foods my mouth waters! I havnt been to eat in there, but I have gotten groceries and some of the homemade raviloi, cheeses and sauces and they have always been fantastic! The meatballs are amazing too! Whenever I want to treat my boyfriend, or really myself, I load myself with all of their posh foods (which I can never pronounce but can definetly eat!) and cook up a storm at home. They definetly have a very unique twist on an average deli, and really it is definetly an experience!

I have been to Iveagh Gardens a number of times for running practice with my school, and school photos etc. but I never really paid much attention to it until I was trying to think of somewhere to go and sit, and I decided to talk a walk to the secluded little park. Its absolutely beautiful, and its thick green grass works as a nice mattress to lie upon when your tired on a nice summers day, or in the winter sit tucked up with a coffee on the benches. It is not as packed as the nearby Stephens Green Park. It is really nice just to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the world.

I have only been to Sand Bar once, before a show for my dinner. I thought there was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly and I was surprised how delicious my pizza was. It was really lovely and not too expensive. In a lovely place, over looking the sea front, i would think it would be lovely on a nice hot day in the summer looking out and having a nice lunch :)

I think when starbucks first struck dublin we seen it as the most amazing coffee shop ever, just because it was american, and when we go to America, we see it there. Then all of a sudden it appeared here. There is nothing wrong with starbucks, I admit at the beginning I was totally in awe by the cool american coffee shop, but i soon realised it was completly over priced in comparison to some much nicer, less crowded coffee shops. You can never get a seat and end up hiting into someone and up ending your coffee all over your self. Not my cup of tea, or well coffee. :)
