A lovely little museum detailing the history of chocolate all the way through to present day. Around 3EUR for a student entry, it does offer good value for money (especially compared with the rest of Bruges!) and keeps you entertained.

The demonstration of how to make chocolate is a must, as is getting a photo with the chocolate Barack Obama!

I visited this restaurant a couple of nights ago whilst visiting friends. I can safely say that it is one of the best meals that i have had in France. All 3 of us found the food to be superb and cannot fault it in any way. The waitress was attentive and ensured that we had a truly wonderful meal.

Whilst the prior review spoke of poor service, we arrived at 1930 when the restaurant was very quiet so had no problems in this regard. The place is large so i can imagine that service does start to fade once it fills but, again, was not a problem for us.

At 22EUR for a 3-course meal when using the set menu (17EUR for two courses), this is certainly a meal that will not break the bank but will leave you suitably content that it is great value for money

The University Of Southampton is one of the best universities in the country. With an internationally renowned engineering department, it excels in all disciplines.
The main Hartley library has more than 22,000 books, not to mention journals and papers, you would be hard pushed to not find one that you are looking for.
Halls of residence are located in 4 different places: Wessex Lane, Glen Eyre, Highfield and Archers Road and the accommodation is all up to a good standard.

The Odeon is a very large cinema in Southampton. It functions exactly as a cinema should; shows films, deals in popcorn and drinks etc.
The cinema itself is very clean and one of the nicest that i have been to. However, at £7.50 for a student ticket, it is a pretty expensive cinema and with another almost nextdoor, is to be avoided if cost is a worry

Having only flown into Southampton airport, i cannot give a review of the whole airport but what i saw was good. There are good transport connections; a train station down the road, park and ride shuttle bus and just a normal bus.
The airport is rather small with only a couple of shops but is adequate. The only downside is that neither Ryanair or Easyjet fly to or from the airport so prices are a little bit more expensive than they possibly need to be but the service to other parts of the UK and Europe is good
