      Came here out of curiosity after spending a few days eating delicious local food. Surprisingly, their spin on Italian food wasn't too bad. More of a fine dining place, with prices to reflect that. Service was ok despite the language barrier. Problem came when we used our credit card to pay. The waitress returned and said our card was declined. Impossible because we had just used it at a store right before dining at this restaurant and there was no issue at all. We used our card the following day and again no issues. Apparently, someone in the restaurant staff decided payment by card wasn't acceptable, even though we checked ahead of time and was told they accepted credit cards. Pretty shady business practice. Beware.

      Blue Geisha rocks! This place has a such a friendly non-pretentious vibe and everyone is cool. I booked my appointment a month ago for a portrait of my dog and it was well worth the wait. Joey took the time to discuss the details of what I wanted and did an amazing job. The tattoo looks just like my dog and really captures his personality. What a great experience and I'll be back soon for my next piece.

      Came here twice in recent months. Once to repair some windshield chips and the other time to fix a window that was off track. Mark did an excellent job both times and Ladan was outstanding in her customer service. They were helpful, friendly, and efficient. Plus, we were more than happy to support a local business. You won't find a better place than Auto Glass Express to repair your car windows!

      We recently celebrated our anniversary with a three-day culinary tour of Bay Area restaurants. We had lovely and delicious dining experiences at every restaurant we tried, that is until we chose A Cote for our last night. Big mistake.

      From the moment we were seated, our waiter acted like he could not be bothered. He took our order and that was the last time we heard from him. He walked by our table numerous times never checking on us. The next time we saw him was when he tossed the dessert menu on the table without a word and walked away. We had intended to order dessert and coffee, despite the terrible service. But we couldn't stomach staying there any longer. At that point, we just wanted to pay the check and leave...leave the restaurant immediately and the horrible experience of being there. Not surprisingly, it took some time before the waiter came back. When he finally did show up, we declined dessert and asked for the check. And then of course, more waiting.

      We usually leave very generous tips for excellent service, for even good service. But we had no kind of service at all. Even so, we justified leaving something for him because at least he got our order right (sometimes it sucks to have a conscience). Needless to say, our last culinary celebration for our anniversary was a huge disappointment.

      Here is where our experience takes a turn for the worse. A few days later, we noticed a different amount for A Cote cleared on our bank statement. We immediately filed a claim with our bank and then contacted the restaurant manager. We explained the situation to her and also let her know of our bad experience there. She found our receipt and informed us that it looked like the waiter had written over our tip to give himself more money. She repeatedly apologized and said the money he took from us would be refunded to our account. She also added that the waiter would be spoken with and retrained on his attentiveness. I told her the bad service was one thing, but STEALING was another! Unbelievable. If this guy wanted a bigger tip, which we would've gladly given, he should've at least provided some good service. Apparently, it was easier for him to just steal from us.

      One star for the friendly hostess and the manager who refunded the stolen money. The food was ok. The service, obviously bad. We won't be back. For good food AND good, HONEST service, we will go elsewhere. If you choose to go to A Cote, beware if you get a waiter by the name of Jon. Be sure to check your bill and your bank statement. Can't believe this even has to be said in a review for a restaurant.

      I got my Stratocaster back from Steve last week and it's never sounded or felt better. It had been a few years since having a proper set-up and also needed some fret leveling. Steve's cost and time estimates were both right on and I had my guitar back exactly when he said I would. Until I got it home and plugged in I didn't realize how badly my guitar needed some work. Intonation is spot on, the neck feels great and plays so easily now and the tone and sustain are much improved. All that and a one year warranty on all work. Needless to say I'll be bringing all my guitars to Steve moving forward. Highly recommended!
