Had a driver that was in an accident and I called for a tow and my guy got there very quickly. When he arrived, was told by law enforcement that Perry's towing had to tow it as this is a contracted (paid for highway section). I wanted the vehicle towed to a shop for repair and was told that they would not do that, it had to go to their yard overnight (with storage fees of course) and then we would have to tow it in the morning for yet another fee. I will call a different tow company tomorrow. The guy was very rude and a total jerk.

My mother had her front calipers, rotors and pads done in July 2021 along with an oil change and an inspection and spent almost $1000. Pete last week refused to inspect my mother's car because "it's past registration and his computer doesn't allow him to bypass that" , meanwhile the DMV advises you can absolutely inspect unregistered vehicles . We advised him of that and he didn't care and refused to work on her car. We then brought her car to Brenns Automotive in Kingston (who I highly recommend) and he advised there's absolutely no way the front rotors were changed in the last couple years and that they are the original rotors, and we would need to fix that before getting it inspected . We called Pete to advise him of this . He told my mother he doesn't have any records so if she didn't have her receipt there's nothing he could do , very defensive and rude . We then got the receipt from the bank and advised him the exact amount and day and time we were there. He then advised it's been two years and they'd obviously be bad. I told him what Brenn had said , which is that they were not replaced two years ago, I asked him if he'd like to see the rotors to confirm this himself. He then advised me even though he's been a mechanic his entire life, he wouldn't be able to tell how old they were and called Brenn a liar. I asked him if he was going to make this right or if we needed to pursue another avenue. He advised me "if we said we did it , we did, and I don't need to see the rotor to confirm that we did."

I HIGHLY do not recommend this crook. My mother has been taking care of him for 15 years as a waitress a various restaurants and has always given him free stuff and great service. I can almost guarantee he won't be welcome , and if he is, he won't be getting good service.

Myself and my mother and her boss as well as Brenn know a lot of people that we will be sharing this information with. Pete, I gave you an opportunity to do this right. You declined. You and your shop will be reported to the proper authorities and the DMV. An official complaint will be made. You can't lie and say you fixed brakes when you didn't. YOU COULD KILL SOMEONE.

DONT try and screw over a Bramlett.

Perrys Towing

These guys did an impeccable job rescuing us off of I87 when we broke down late on Sunday night. Jim was able to quickly tow us back to Kingston to a local hotel to spend the night. our car was dropped off at their garage, and they were able to quickly fix the problem, getting us back on the road by 11 the next morning.

And to top it off - they were so efficient that our 6 month old baby slept through the entire tow all the way to the hotel! Can't ask for much more than that.

Amazing service! My car broke down on the highway & these guys came 5 minutes after calling. The owner was very kind and allowed me to keep my things there while figuring out my next move. Very kind and very reasonable price. Thank you so much!!!!

Good, honest guys. My car overheated on the NYS Thruway halfway between Kingston and New Paltz, which - if you don't know - is in the middle of freaking NOWHERE. 17 miles between exits. On a Sunday night. I called AAA and they sent Perry's, but because traffic was so bad, the driver couldn't get us to New Paltz and had to take me back to their garage in Kingston instead. A lot of mechanics see a BMW pull in and all they see are dollar signs. Add to that the fact that I was almost an hour from home, so I knew I couldn't get someone tow us to my usual mechanic, and I knew I would just have to pay them whatever they asked. I was screwed.

I left my car there overnight, dreading the verdict. New water pump? New radiator? Head gasket, god forbid? The next morning they called me up and told me it was fixed. $107! Just drilled out a broken bleeder screw, put a new one in, and sent me on my way. They really could have burned me but they didn't. Incredible!

I hope I never have to call them again, but they did a great job when I needed them.

Just got myself stuck on a berm trying to make a right in someone's driveway that only really accommodates the left hand turn. I was trying to make a wide angle right but before I knew it, my little Hyundai was stuck on this high berm, my right tire was off the ground and I couldn't go forward or back. Perry's only made me wait about 15 minutes, and when the driver got there he was walking around my vehicle with great concentration not listening to me prattling on. (I wouldn't listen to me either). He moved my car ever so gently off the Berne and placed it onto the road as gentle as a mama putting her baby in the crib. Thank you Perry's, well worth the money

On Sunday I broke down on NYS Thruway near Kingston and AAA thru the Thruway Authority sent Perry's Towing and Recovery. They sent me the nicest driver who dropped me off at Broadway Lights Diner. They repaired my car the next day, replacing the alternator and were extremely reasonable in their pricing for both the towing and repair. It's nice to know that there are honest reliable businesses in this State and Country.

Not sure how they might have operated a few years ago, but recently I was disappointed by extremely rude staff. Both over the phone and in-person they were pretty disrespectful and seemed dishonest. Wouldn't reccomend to friends or family.
